Magnum stainless coil springs for tying your
own bucktails and Magnum Flashabou. High quality stainless will never rust! Don't
use throttle cables as they will eventually rust and damage your ties!
Our coils are manufactured to our high
specifications with tightly wrapped coils so that your thread can not slip between coils
when tying, and stiff enough for a fast and easy tie and best of all no sharp
edges to cut your fingers on.
Easy to hold in most fly tying vices or clamping pliers with the use of a
simple vice extension* (see photo below). We recommend using the
1/2" coil for tying Magnum Flashabou,
one inch for marabou and small bucktails, the two inch coil is ideal for tying large
bucktails where a lot of bucktail hair is wanted.
