CAST IRON LADLE
CAST IRON LADLE
We have two cast iron ladles. One 3" (7.6 cm) cup diameter to hold 1½ lbs
(~0.75 kg)
of lead. The second has a 2-1/2" diameter cup to hold 1-1/4 lbs (~0.50 kg)
of lead. Both are excellent for pouring sinkers and jigs. Features both left and
right pouring lips. Intended for use with the Cast
Iron Melting Pot and large electric melters. The 8-1/2lb model is designed
for use only with our Large 50lb capacity
Cast Iron Melting Pot.

A Single Burner
Hot Plate/Stove is an
excellent source of heat for melting lead.
Available in most department stores for less than $20.00 are safe and easy to
use. A 500
watt model will melt 10lbs of lead in about 7-10 minutes and a 1000 watt model
will melt 20lbs of
lead in 10-15 minutes.
