HOW MUCH GLOW
PIGMENT DO I NEED?
Add our Super Glow Powder pigment to your liquid
clear coat/paint at a rate of 908g per US gallon (3.78 liters). The recommended ratio is 10%
to 50% of glow powder pigment to paint depending on the glow results you are
trying to achieve. If you wish to achieve a brighter and longer glow you simply have to add
more glow pigment.
Amount of Super Glow
Pigment to add to your liquid paint for MAXIMUM Glow
1 fl. oz - add 1/2 oz glow
pigment
1 US Pint - add 1/2 lb. glow pigment
1 US Gallon - add 2 lb. glow pigment
WHICH PAINTS
DO I USE?
You may add our Super Glow Pigment to
any oil (solvent) or lacquer based paint
which is transparent, translucent (neon and fluorescent) or clear paints like our clear
lacquer. You should not add it to opaque paints because the pigment will
be covered under the paint and the glow will not be very effective. You must
have a base coat of white before appying your new glow in the dark paint. Our
Super Glow Pigments are not recommended for use with waterbased paints.
HOW DO I
CHARGE MY PAINTED GLOW LURES?
Once the paint is dry you can charge you lure by
placing it in direct light source for 10 minutes or longer to achieve longest
glow time. Sunlight and other lights rich in U/V (ultra violet) light are the
best. Incandescent bulbs (standard light bulbs) are low in UV and do not charge
super glow lures very well.
HOW LONG WILL
MY LURES GLOW?
If properly charged your lures will glow all
night long (2 to 10 hours)! Exact length of time will vary, depending on the
amount of pigment you add to your paint and the light source used to charge
your lure.
