LEXAN SHEETS
Using these Lexan® Sheets you can now make your
own diving lips and bills for your crankbaits. Lexan is a super strong clear
plastic sheeting material stronger than Plexiglas and highly recommended for
making lips, bills, and tails. Each sheet is 1/8" or 3/16" thick and
available in several sizes. Each sheet has protective masking and can be easily cut
using your scroll saw or band saw. Coping saws may also be used. Simply trace
the desired lip from the diving lip pattern
sheet available free, if requested, and cut to shape.

TIP
1:
Lips and Bills aligned parallel with the body produce lures that dive deeply
with a tight action. Lips and Bills aligned perpendicular to the body produce
lures that dive shallowly, but with lots of wobble.
TIP 2:
Lexan Sheets can be easily cut to shape using a
hand coping saw, scroll saw, dremel tool, or router. Cut up to 6 lips at once by
applying spray adhesive to the protective masking and glue Lexan
Sheets together. Trace the pattern on the top sheet and cut. Now simply peel off
the protective masking and your have 6 identical bills.
